A little about myself. I am married and have two children, a daughter who is 19 years old and son who is 16 years old. We have three dogs and they keep us all very busy! I am from Maryland and went to different schools in Montgomery County. I graduated from High Point University in North Carolina in 1992 with a Political Science Degree and a minor in teaching. I will be starting a program in Fall 2024 with Towson University for a Masters in Special Education. I currently work at Clarksburg High School as a paraeducator. I assist students in all classes and those who have an IEP or a 504. We work on classwork, homework, or prepare for a quiz/test. I LOVE working with students of all ages as I previously worked with elementary students. I think working with students is very rewarding and see them as sponges where they can absorb everything and learn so much. This is what it is all about, helping young people so they can learn in a stress free environment and thrive.
